Quick Input Method Switch

macOS menu bar app to switch input methods with custom hotkeys — including consecutive key taps (multi-tap) that macOS System Settings cannot configure.

Switch ABC / Pinyin / Hiragana with double-tap ⌘, ⌃ Space ×2, or any recorded combo. Lightweight, no Dock icon, HUD toast feedback.

Why this app?

macOS Keyboard Shortcuts → Input Sources only supports normal modifier+key combos. It cannot bind:

• Double-tap Command (⌘ ×2)
• Double-tap Option / Control / Shift
• Consecutive presses of the same shortcut (e.g. ⌃ Space pressed twice quickly)

Quick Input Method Switch fills that gap with a global event monitor and a simple menu-bar recorder.

Install

1. Download / build QuickInputMethodSwitch-*.dmg from dist/
2. Open the DMG and drag the app into Applications
3. Launch the app → grant Accessibility
4. Click the menu bar keyboard icon → Record Hotkey
   • Double-tap ⌘ quickly to save ⌘ ×2
   • Or hold modifiers + key; repeat within ~0.5s for multi-tap
5. (Optional) Disable the system ⌃ Space shortcut if it conflicts

本应用是一个菜单栏小工具，支持用连击 / 多击快捷键循环切换输入法（ABC / 拼音 / 日文假名等）。

特色

• 支持连续按键作为切换热键（连击 ×2、×3…）——系统设置做不到

概要

macOS のシステムショートカットでは、連続タップ（マルチタップ） を入力ソース切替に割り当てられません。
本アプリはメニューバー常駐で、⌘ のダブルタップや同じショートカットの連打をホットキーとして使えます。

• 連続キー（×2 / ×3…）を切替ホットキーにできる（システムの制限を回避）
